I’m thrilled to start my first year as a Teacher’s Assistant at White Rock North School! With 17 years of experience in education, my journey began as a teacher’s aide in the special education program at Richardson School District. From there, I moved on to become the special education secretary at one of their campuses, and later, I was promoted to Administrative Specialist/Travel Specialist in the Accounting Department. During this time, I welcomed my wonderful son into the world, prompting my husband and me to reevaluate my professional path.

I wanted to stay connected to education while being present for my son during his early years, so I transitioned to working as a preschool teacher at two private schools. I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to join the team at White Rock North School and embark on this new chapter.

Currently, I’m completing my associate’s degree in Applied Sciences, and I’m eager to use my skills and experience to support both teachers and students here.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, attending church, and caring for our pets. I’m a proud wife and the mother of an energetic three and a half year old son.
