Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, I’m a proud alumna of Southern University A&M College, where I earned my degree in Business Marketing. I chose this path with the dream of one day owning my own business, which led me to start a makeup business.

However, my career took a rewarding turn in 2019 when I began working as a teacher’s assistant at a learning center. After a year of experience in early childhood education, I transitioned into a role as a preschool teacher. I’m deeply passionate about the critical importance of early education, especially from infancy to age five. I’m inspired by the role preschool plays in developing social, physical, and emotional skills, boosting self-confidence, and preparing children for school.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my job is watching my students grow academically and personally. My goal as a teacher is to create a positive, safe, fun, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and feel valued.
