White Rock North School students and campers who enrolled in either session should bring their swimming suits on both days!! Make updates are easier to schedule, as these kids are on site daily.

NO DISPOSABLE SWIM DIAPERS ALLOWED…2 CLOTH ONES ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL KIDS 3 AND YOUNGER! We can’t afford accidents!

Session 1: Monday, as posted
Session 2: Tuesday, as posted

NOTE: If your swimmer will not be in attendance for these make up days, please call the school office, so we can adjust the schedule accordingly: 214-348-7410.

Have a great July 4!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CAMPERS

Summer camp is here and we’re so excited you’re joining us this year!  If it’s your first time with us, here are a few things that you should know:

UPPER SCHOOL CAMPERS (1st-7th grade):

Campus hours are 7:00am-6:00pm.  Summer camp activities run from 8:30am-5:00pm.  Don’t be late, or you’ll miss out on “Morning Round-Up” and you won’t want that!  This is when campers find out the day’s events, group assignments and Camp WRN news!

A schedule of weekly events and activities will be sent home on the first day of camp.

Closed Campus hours are 8:30am-3:30pm.  During these hours, all doors are locked for campus security.  If you arrive during these hours, we will receive your child and escort him to class, then retrieve him from class to depart.  This keeps group interruptions to a minimum.

If you need to enter the campus and you’re a new client of White Rock North School, please bring your state ID for verification.  Students will not be released without proper ID.

When you arrive on your first day, please see one of our staff!  They’ll be more than happy to help you get to the right location and counselor!

Valet Services: We offer door to door service for our campers, from 7:30-8:30am and 3:30-6:00pm! You’re always welcome to come into the school. We love showing off, but this simple courtesy is so helpful to our clients!  Just drive up and we’ll get your child to the correct group and when the day closes, just pull up under our covered driveway and we’ll call your camper’s name on our PA system.  Our teaching team will make sure that your child gets to the staff member at the front door and safely back to you.  When in the valet lines, cars must always be manned.

Every day, our campers must wear closed-toe shoes (sneakers are preferred!), bring a lunch and drink, water bottle, 2 snacks or money to buy snacks from our snack cart.

Your child  will be participating in weekly roller skating, will need socks, and can also bring their own skates/blades, if desired.  We have plenty of Riddell skates, so don’t worry if you don’t have any skates!  Don’t know how to skate, we’ll teach that, too!

Campers will participate in “free swim” in our indoor, heated pool.  On these days, your child will need a swimming suit, towel, flip flops and a hair band for those kids with long hair.  Optional items for “free swim” are swim goggles, a rash guard and pool toys.

Our campers get a lot of physical activity and that’s why we highly recommend sneakers for daily wear!  Our Activity Team creates indoor and outdoor activities/games to keep our kids’ brains and bodies engaged!

Tech Days are great, too!  Our staff will let you know what day your child will be allowed to bring their own personal devices, for short amounts of screen time.

D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) Time is a daily staple at Camp WRN!  Find a good book and bring it every day!  Do you have a summer reading list to get through, like our elementary students do? This is the time to knock it down!!
