Academics

At White Rock North School, dedication to learning is first and foremost––but it is never boring, never mundane. Our academically strong curriculum emphasizes core disciplines including Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Information Technology, and Social Sciences. Each Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten and Grade Level class is led by a degreed professional--a fact that sets us apart from many local private schools. And our low student to teacher ratios afford your child every opportunity to achieve academic excellence.

Arts

Our core disciplines are supported by integrated activities such as Environmental Education, Health/Safety/Physical Education, which includes onsite swimming and skating, Fine Arts including music, art, drama and dance, and Spanish.

Outdoor Learning Center

We have student gardens where the children can harvest their food for lunch, as well as livestock animals that the children care for. Students learn to weed, turn soil, and add compost to prepare garden beds for spring planting. Sixth graders design and map out a raised 5 x 5 garden bed to plant. Students research Texas growing seasons and select plants. Later students learn to harvest and study nutrition, meal planning, and budgeting!

What our clients say

I would give a 10 if could! I went to this school over 10 years ago from preschool to 6th grade, and I still remember how great it was. The summer camps, rodeo lock-ins, skate rink, late night swimming, book fair, Ginger the horse, decorating the classrooms for Halloween (the basement always won!), of course Mr. Adams, the list goes on. I plan to send my kiddos in the future, and I need to visit more often ❤️

My son just finished his first week of summer camp at White Rock North and he absolutely loved it! Everything about this precious school was top-notch from the front desk staff to the well thought out week! I would highly recommend WRN for your summer needs!
